About Jamghat

A Charitable Organization for street children

Your support will help us to make life better for poor vulnerable street children.

Jamghat is a non-profit organization comprising of inspired young members and volunteers working with street children and other vulnerable children since 2003. Through its comprehensive care model, Jamghat aims to help children and women living and working on the streets of Delhi realise their dreams and rejoin society by offering opportunities to make them self-sustained and more independent.

CHILDREN'S HOME

Jamghat has been running two shelter homes and one day care centre for 77 girls and boys in Old Delhi.

Jamghat runs a tailoring unit, Ekjut, at Jama Masjid that tackles the serious issue of plastic use by hiring street women to make cotton cloth bags.
